Zulhash Mandal was arrested at the New Market on Tuesday and handed over to Aminpur police in Pabna. Police took him on an overnight raid, said Pabna Additional Superintendent of Police Rabiul Islam. The 42-year-old belonged to the Purba Bangla Communist Party and led a terror gang in Pabna, Rajbari and Kushtia. “Police took Zulhash along to recover arms and nab his gang members. Zulhash suffered a gunshot as he tried to escape,” said the SP.
