A 23-year-old aspiring journalist, Tejashree Vaidya, who was critically injured after falling from a local train, has finally been taken off the ventilator support on Saturday. After a month-long treatment, Vaidya has finally started breathing although she requires oxygen support sometimes. While she was in a coma earlier, she has now started moving her right eye, hands, and leg. "We have spent Rs 80,000 so far and received the help of Rs 28,000 from the Rajeev Gandhi health insurance scheme. She will take time to recover fully but is showing positive responses to the treatment."
