Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express will operate six days a week. Unlike the normal passenger trains which have an Advance Reservation Period (ARP) of 120 days but the privately operated Tejas Express will have an ARP of 60 days only. Current booking in the Tejas Express will be available to users after preparation of the first chart which will normally be 4 hours and up to 5 minutes before the scheduled departure of the train.
