A 16 year-old teenager, who confronted another juvenile staring at a girl at Charkop, in Kandivali (west), was brutally thrashed by a group of seven to eight youth. The group hit the victim with a paver block and the latter sustained a crack on his skull. The girl noticed the teenager and told Pereira that she is frequently teased by the same person," said the victim's father Prashant Pereira. Pereira then, asked the girl to leave the spot and he got into a fight with the gang of youth. "After proper investigation, necessary action will be taken against the offenders," said a senior police officer from the Charkop Police Station.
