Jodhpur locals soon to get a breather from water problems as they are likely to get 24*7 water supply August 2019 onwards. To complete the much-delayed 24*7 meter water project, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has purchased more than 4500 new meters, bought in from Turkey. Jodhpur, Stadium ward and Vadaj as per the plan were to get metered water. According to the officials, in remaining part of the Jodhpur ward they are installing 30 meters daily. "Under the pilot project, we are going to issue zero bill but we will observe the usage and wastage of water in Jodhpur ward," said an official of the civic body.
