Tributes have been paid to ‘amazing and brave’ Gemma Nuttall, 29, of Lancashire who died on Sunday following a five-year fight with cancer. Hollywood actress Kate Winslet has also spoken of her sadness after learning of the death of the "wonderful" mum, whose cancer treatment she helped pay for. Gemma was diagnosed with ovarian cancer while she pregnant with her now four-year-old daughter Penelope, and delayed chemotherapy to save her life. Her journey gathered the support of one of Hollywood’s biggest stars – Titanic actress Kate Winslet – who not only contributed towards Gemma’s treatment, but also helped get the word out there about her condition.
