Multiple cars have collided in the KāpitiA multi-car collision has blocked one lane of Kāpiti Rd in Paraparaumu. Police were called to the southern end of the street, at the intersection of Larch Gr, at about 12pm. No serious injuries were reported but a police spokesperson said one pregnant woman was checked by paramedics as a precaution. A tow had been arranged to remove two of the cars involved. Investigations into how the crash occurred were ongoing.
