KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 5): Multi-Usage Holdings Bhd's application to delay its annual general meeting to Dec 31, 2016 has been rejected by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM), the property developer and building materials provider said today. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Multi-Usage Holdings said it today received a letter dated Sept 29 from CCM. "Further announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd on any material development on the above will be made in due course," the company said. Originally Dec 31, the company changed its year end to April 30 in April this year as it said it had needed more time to resolve accounting issues with its auditors. Multi-Usage shares, which closed flat at 67 sen today, have been on a downtrend this year from Dec 31, 2015's close of RM1.09.
