Somyong Kerdsilp, 45, was found dead on his bed at 7am by his family. He was not wearing a shirt and had not used a blanket. They said Somyong had been drinking and went to bed without first putting his shirt on. A doctor from the Mukdahan Hospital who inspected the scene said the man died about six hours earlier of hypothermia because of the cold weather.
