Organisers of the Mudtopia Festival have declined to reveal how many tickets were sold - and how much the festival has cost ratepayers. She also said the Rotorua event compared favourably to the original Korean Mud Festival in Boryeong. "Rotorua Mudtopia was very much family orientated, which I liked very much," she said. "There were no crazy drunk people, the Boryeong Mud Festival is particular popular amongst the young twenty-somethings who are crazy about having fun."
