Western leaders have said the meeting between Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi (pictured) and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetang’ula on Monday is evidence of a solidifying opposition. He said Ford Kenya wants Wetang’ula picked as the opposition flagbearer. Khalwale, however, said Ford Kenya will support Mudavadi if he is picked as the torchbearer. They met at a Karen club, signaling a start by the opposition to work in unity ahead of the election. Lurambi MP Raphael Otaalo said close working links between Mudavadi and Wetang’ula are good for the opposition.
