The National Governemnt CDF has released Sh9.5 billion out of the Sh25 billion set aside by the National Treasury to finance development projects in constituencies. This is despite 288 constituencies having submitted their project proposals to facilitate the release of the money to finance key development plans being implemented by constituencies management boards. The board has given 188 constituencies Sh40,948,276 each, reflecting 50 per cent paymentOf the 290 constituencies, only 100 have received emergency funds only. Kajiado West and Dagoretti South constituencies have not received any money because they are yet to submit project proposals to the board for approval. This is according to the NGCDF board report tabled in the National Assembly yesterday.
