Second, Mr. Trump promised to rebalance our trade relations, which have exported both our manufacturing capacity and our capacity to supply our own citizens with decently paying employment. Third, Mr. Trump promised that any reform of President Obama’s signature Affordable Care Act would bring more, not less, coverage to Americans than had his predecessors’ plan. Well, consider: Today it’s leaked that Mr. Trump will likely put off all consideration of his infrastructural renewal plans till next year at the earliest.
