Friday, July 15, 2016 Moyano begins long farewell from CGTCGT boss Hugo Moyano began his long farewell from the leadership of the umbrella union yesterday with a surprise announcement that he would be staying on until August 22 — the date set for the reunification of all three splinter groups — while at the same time accepting praise from his colleagues and criticizing the Mauricio Macri government. Moyano received warm applause from unions leaders as he gave his final speech to union conference, saying that “we will continue to fight for the interests and rights of workers, no matter whom we have to fight against.”
