A CHURCHYARD mowing club is seeking new volunteers to help keep the grounds maintained over the coming months. There are currently four groups but Mr Austen is hoping to create a fifth group to make sure that “each weekend is more than covered”. The work itself is not overly physical but Mr Austen says it does help members stay fit and get out into the open air. The only thing to be cautious of is avoiding the primroses, or else “people would be up in arms”, Mr Austen said.
