Following his arrest on Thursday, Darus Salam was interrogated at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station regarding the hit-and-run case. On 18 August, police arrested another driver, Md Nayeem, and seized the vehicle he was driving on charges of running over and killing mountaineer Reshma.
