Cycling protesters have caused two lanes on the harbour bridge to close. Auckland Harbour Bridge’s guerrilla artist has revealed himself. Chris Dews’ impressionistic-style painting portraying a wistful scene of Auckland’s transport network caused a stir when it was discovered on the south side of the bridge during rush hour traffic on Wednesday morning. Dews’ exhibition, Taxman’s Terrace, runs until July 3 at Monster Valley on Karangahape Rd, and attendees are invited to sketch an idea about what they think the future of Auckland could be.
