PETALING Jaya City Council (MBPJ) councillor Christopher Ong has given assurance to follow up on the safety concerns raised about the construction work in Section 16. He was referring to the construction of a flyover for the high-rise project. The development, near the junction of Jalan Dato Abu Bakar (also known as Jalan 16/1) and Jalan 16/11, comprises high-rise blocks and a podium. “The construction has created a blind spot at the turning from SPRINT Highway into Jalan 16/1,” he said. Motorist R. Theresa said she had noticed vehicles struggling to enter Jalan 16/11 due to the placement of plastic barriers.
