A motorcyclist was taken to Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries after a crash in the Selwyn district this morning. Police were called to the crash on West Coast Rd (State Highway 73), near Darfield, about 9.05am on Tuesday. The incident happened between Horndon St and North Tce. A St John spokeswoman said one person was taken to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition.
