People who live and work on Albert St are being asked about their views on the proposed cycleway for the street. Albert St and parts of Featherston St and Milson Line are in line to receive improvements for cyclists. Under the council’s urban cycle network master plan, a cycleway will be developed along Albert St. Like Albert St, that section of Featherston St has cycle lane markings, but they’re not connected. The road has a cycle lane, but apart from the railway overbridge, it is hard up against traffic.
