Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a man after a two-car crash killed a woman and critically injured her baby west of Kitchener. Police said the woman was pronounced dead in hospital after the collision at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday on Highway 7 at Trussler Road in Wilmot Township. The mother and child were passengers in a vehicle that police say was hit from behind. The father of the child suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital, while the grandmother was uninjured. Schmidt said the Cambridge OPP are seeking witnesses to the deadly crash.
