Mariam Benzain, 31, appeared in custody at the Old Bailey today as police confirmed the victim was five-month-old Elias Biad. The 31-year-old woman was later charged with the murder of her son, the Met Police said. A baby, believed to be less than a year old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
