A mother and her four-year old child are dead following a two-car crash in Markham on Monday morning. Officers received a call about the collision involving multiple people near 16th and Bur Oak avenues just before 10 a.m. Roads are closed around the crash site at 16th and Bur Oak avenues. He was travelling with a five-and-a-half month old girl; both were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
