more-inThe first results after the counting begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday across 38 centres in the State can be expected in as early as two hours and the last results in about four hours, though trends will be available much earlier. In constituencies having less polling booths, the results can come early while it can be delayed in segments with more booths. The number of rounds to be counted varies between 5 and 21 depending on the number of polling booths, and each round takes about 20 minutes to count. Votes from 14 booths will be counted at a time and this is considered to be one round of counting.
