Nyali MP Mohammed Ali and his Suna East MP Junet Mohammed almost got into a fist fight over seating arrangements at the BBI rally in Mombasa on Saturday. Organisers of the rally had underestimated the number of delegates expected, with fewer seats at the dais than the number of guests. Junet asked Ali to move to the back of the dais, saying the front row seats were reserved for Governors. Ali refused to move, saying he is also an elected MP and had a right to be at the dais. Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was roughed up as orderlies tried to take his seat away.
