Biman Bangladesh Airlines Managing Director and CEO AM Mosaddique Ahmed has been fired a month before his extended contract was to end. AM Mosaddique AhmedBiman board of directors decided to relieve him of his responsibilities on Tuesday, Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary Mohibul Haque told bdnews24.com. Biman Director (Flight Operations) Captain Farhat Hasan Jamil will stand in for Mosaddique until a new MD and CEO is appointed, according to Mohibul. Joining the flag carrier as an assistant manager in 1983, he retired as a director in 2015. Biman appointed him MD and CEO on contract for a year on June 1, 2016 and later extended it.
