Morocco and Spain cooperate closely on political, security and economic arena with tangible results on the ground. Globally, Morocco was the ninth destination of Spanish goods and the second outside the EU just behind the US. Some 20,714 Spanish companies exported their products to Morocco as the two countries foster trade at all levels. At the security level, the two countries build on their close ties with talks recently between minister delegate for national defense administration Abdellatif Loudiyi and Spanish minister of Defense, Margarita Robles. Last month, Spain and Morocco signed eleven cooperation agreements on the occasion of a visit to Rabat by King Felipe VI of Spain.
