More than third expect higher home prices in second half, survey showsA survey by online property portal Squarefoot said 39 percent of respondents expect home prices to increase by an average 9.4 percent in the second half. The survey was conducted among 500 Hong Kong citizens in late June before the third wave of infections in Hong Kong. Around 22 percent anticipate an average drop of 11.2 percent in property prices in the second half. The new survey results reveal that the proportion of respondents who believe property values have reached their peak in the past 12 months has dropped from 47 percent to 34 percent since the last survey.
