More than 47 people arrested at Guns N’ Roses concerts in New Jersey on charges including assaulting police

New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium was anything but Paradise City this weekend when 47 Guns N’ Roses fans were arrested for a wide ranging number of charges, including assault and disorderly conduct. Guns N’ Roses played at the stadium for sold out crowds on Saturday and Sunday as part of their “Not in This Lifetime…” tour. USA Today reported that more than a dozen of the arrests involved multiple offences, including trespassing, resisting arrest, simple assault, harassment, lewdness, making terroristic threats and possession of marijuana. A total of 22 people are facing charges of disorderly conduct, while many of the other charges were minor offences, like selling goods without a permit. Police arrested 29 people on Saturday, including one woman charged with assaulting two officers, and an additional 18 people on Sunday, according to a police press release.
