A boy has been charged with criminal negligence causing death after a girl died in a single-vehicle crash in Caledon early Tuesday. The boy, who cannot be identified because of his age, faces several charges, including criminal negligence causing death and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death. Ontario Provincial Police said the boy and the girl were both younger than 16 and both in the car during the crash. They said the girl, who was the passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash happened at about 4:15 a.m. on Highway 10.
