From the total, 44,819 are candidates from government schools, 222 from private schools, 254 individual private candidates, and eight state government candidates. Meanwhile, 50,011 candidates will be sitting for the STPM 2018 session 1 examination on Nov 15, 16, 20 and 21 Nov at 670 centres. Out of this number, 49,746 are government school candidates, 168 private school candidates, 80 private individual candidates, and 17 are state government candidates. In the event of such situations during the STPM and MUET examination, candidates can also call the STPM operations room at 03-61261668. Both STPM and SPM candidates are also reminded to bring along their MyKads and exam slips without fail.
