BUTTERWORTH: Penang police are investigating the circumstances behind a viral video which saw a factory bus driver assault a Nepali factory worker. The incident on Friday morning in Paya Terubong near Air Itam was believed to have been triggered by a faulty bus air conditioner. One of the foreign workers had apparently raised his dissatisfaction over the faulty air conditioner, which in turn angered the bus driver. The assailant then proceeded to pummel the foreign worker by using a motorcycle helmet. The 1:45-min video of the man shouting and hitting a foreign factory worker using a helmet had gone viral was shared on various social media sites.
