However, only 9,543 lucky students among the successful candidates will get the opportunity to study medical science in 100 private and public medical colleges across the country. Among the 9,543, 3,318 will be enroled with 31 state-run medical colleges. The others will be allowed to study at the 69 private medical schools across the country. A total of 82,788 students took the Friday test. The authorities deducted 5 marks of the candidates who appeared in the admission test for the second time.
