The transport department will be doubling the daily quota of online appointments for certain services, such as the renewal of driver's licenses. From May 11 to 31, the daily quota for online appointments of services such as license renewals, vehicle ownership transfers and international driving permits will be doubled from 4,500 to 9,000 per day. The department has appealed to the public to use the online appointment service as much as possible. The service hours of the licensing offices are 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. The coin carts will visit Eastern and Wan Chai at Maple Road in North Point and Queen's Road East in Wan Chai, respectively, between May 11 and 17, except for May 13.
