Wynn Macau (1128) reported a net loss of US$154 million (HK$1.19 billion) in the first quarter compared to a net profit of US$191 million in the corresponding period last year. As it was, operating revenue from Wynn Macau plunged by 56.2 percent to US$229.5 million for the quarter. Total operating revenues slumped by 60 percent to US$489 million, casino revenue fell by 63 percent to US$398 million, and revenue from room and food and beverage both dropped over 50 percent. That came after a net loss of US$6 million for the first quarter compared with a net profit of US$259 million for the quarter last year . Revenue was down by 39 percent to US$956 million, and the gross profit margin fell 7.5 percentage points to 44.2 percent.
