Canterbury road policing manager Inspector Greg Cottam said they have seen an increase in the number of boy racers compared to alert level 3. We’re seeing them popping up in the normal spots, at the airport and over in Lyttelton way,” he said. Inspector Cottam said it is important drivers take the rules of level 2 seriously and police will be there to enforce them if they do not.
