The Media Council has found that Stuff’s slow and inadequate response to information about a revised Tenancy Tribunal finding was unfair to the landlord. After a complaint was lodged with the Media Council Stuff posted a new article outlining the revised Tribunal finding and linked the original story to the new one. The Media Council in its ruling notes that it is important for the normal operation of the news media to report matters such as tribunal hearings at the time.
