By AFPMore by this AuthorMOSCOWThree more Russian athletes including a sprinter stripped of Olympic gold have admitted doping, the country's tainted track and field body (RusAF) said on Wednesday. RusAF's anti-doping coordinator said she hoped the athletes' admission could help reinstate Russia, which has been barred from international track and field since November 2015 because of large-scale doping. The relay quartet was last year stripped of gold after Chermoshanskaya tested positive for steroids in a doping retest and was disqualified for two years. "We all hope that it may speed up the process of RusAF reinstatement," RusAF anti-doping coordinator Yelena Ikonnikova told AFP by phone. Russia was banned from international athletics after evidence emerged of state-sponsored doping.
