The Morcha stand raised the spectre of doubt on the outcome of the meeting, given that it is unlikely that the government would reconcile on the statehood issue. Binay Tamang, the chief coordinator of the Morcha, today said he had received a letter from the state government inviting the party's representatives for talks. "It was addressed to the chief coordinator of the party," Tamang said. The Morcha chief, however, was not present at the party meeting in Mungpoo today. The Morcha chief also urged the other political parties not to get "lost in other administrative arrangements".
