IPOH: The general morale among firefighters in Perak is low, owing to the passing of Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim on Monday (Dec 17). Perak Fire and Rescue Department deputy director Sayani Saidon said those in the state were also affected emotionally, as they are still coming to terms with the passing of one of their own. “Today is meant to show solidarity towards our lost comrades,” she told reporters during a special Yassin recitation and prayers for those who lost their lives at the state headquarters on Thursday (Dec 20). “What has happened also showed the various challenges that firemen are facing,” she added. Sayani also expressed her gratitude to the media for its support during the difficult times.
