NEW DELHI, May 19: Moon Pradhan has been elected as the District Director of the Toastmasters International’s District 41 covering Nepal and Northern India, becoming the first female from Nepal to head the position. Pradhan assumed her new role during the district conference held over the weekend in New Delhi, India, which was attended by members from across the region. She will lead District 41 for the next year. The conference also featured speech contests, where Nepali contestants swept the top three positions in the International Speech Contest. “District 41 encompasses parts of North India and Nepal, a region rich in diversity and potential.
