In her memoirs, Letters to a Young Gymnast, Comaneci wryly described that dismount: “Today, this is rated as a B move. Biles draws her distinction from explosive power, more acrobatic than Comaneci in her prime. “I guess everything started in Montreal,” says Comaneci.
