Raptors guard Kyle Lowry, left, low-fives Norman Powell before Game 5 against Milwaukee. Still, Lowry was moving well enough in Game 6 that the stiff back from Game 5 didn’t seem to be a problem. Every spring we psychoanalyze Lowry; every spring it’s Kyle, banged up against Brooklyn, broken against Washington, shooting alone after a loss to Miami. When we talk about the near future of the Toronto Raptors — a team that is objectively at its franchise apex, low bar or not — what we are really talking about is Kyle Lowry. He just needs to be Kyle Lowry, whoever that might be.
