Share:ISLAMABAD - President Dr Arif Alvi has said that I-voting is imperative to incorporate nine million overseas Pakistanis to the electoral process and modern technology should be used for foolproof security of this system. He said this while chairing a meeting in Islamabad yesterday regarding emerging technologies in I-Voting. The President asked NADRA to provide required cooperation to overcome technical challenges in evolving the system of I-Voting. The meeting agreed to form a sub-committee to expedite formulating the system of I-Voting and remove hurdles in its way.
