Manikganj’s Deputy Commissioner SM Ferdous inaugurated the relief distribution ceremony, which was held maintaining social distance and also attended by Shibaloy Upazila Nirbahi Officer BM Ruhul Amin Rimon and Modele Group Executive Director Shamsul Haque Ripon. “According to the prime minister’s orders, the business institutions must work together to tackle the Covid 19 crisis,” said Ferdous, and thanked Modele Group for stepping up to aid those affected by river erosion. In addition to helping those hit by river-erosion, Modele Group also extended a helping hand to overcome the Covid-19 crisis. Modele Group believes that regional awareness and creating defence zones alongside government initiatives are imperative to tackle the Covid 19 crisis, said the press release.
