As per its tally, more than 12,654,600 Covid-19 cases were recorded until 5:30pm BdST, and the global death toll was over 563,500. The hardest-hit United States reported more than 3,292,200 confirmed cases while the death toll neared 136,700. The confirmed coronavirus cases in the South Asian country went over 823,900 while the death toll crossed 22,150 until Saturday evening. In terms of confirmed coronavirus cases, Russia is now in the fourth position with more than 720,500 recorded cases. The country’s total confirmed cases also climbed to 181,129, as 2,686 more people were found infected in the same 24-hour time span.
