Mo Salah crowned African Player of the Year (again)!


Liverpool’s Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has again been named the Confederation of African Football’s Player of the Year. Receiving the honour in Dakar, Senegal, Salah was also named in the Africa Best XI for 2018 alongside team-mates Mane, Naby Keita and Premier League rivals Serge Aurier, Eric Bailly, Riyad Mahrez and Aubameyang. The 26-year-old enjoyed an incredible debut season in the Premier League after arriving from Roma in 2017. Salah was voted PFA Player of the Year last month. The continent’s football governing body, the Confederation of African Football, Women’s Player of the Year went to South Africa’s Houston Dash forward Chrestinah Thembi.
