Peel Regional Police were notified by auditors in June about alleged “discrepancies in cash handling procedures.”A Mississauga elementary school principal was arrested and charged with fraud after $30,000 allegedly went missing from the school’s coffers. Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board spokesperson Bruce Campbell said Clifford is no longer the principal of St. Raymond Elementary School and has been on leave for “several months,” but would not comment further.
