David Fountain. The body of a missing Twizel man has today been recovered from the same canal his car was found in yesterday. The police dive squad recovered the body of David Allan Fountain (42) from the Pukaki Ohau Canal, near Twizel, this afternoon. In a statement this evening police said they believed Mr Fountain's car crashed and went into the canal. It was recovered yesterday afternoon.
