M Sekander Hossain, a local journalist, told Dhaka Tribune the missing journalist was found at 7:30 pm on Sunday in the Chhoto Kumira area. Jesmine Akhter, wife of Golam Sarwar, confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune. “We have come to know that my husband has been found in Sitakunda,” she said, adding that her husband is now being taken to a hospital for treatment. Jubayer Siddiqui, assistant editor of Akjer Surjodoy, also said his colleague had been found and they are rushing to the spot.
